Vikings acquire RB Jordan Mason through trade with 49ers

It's safe to say the Vikings are active this offseason.

Minnesota's latest move came on Saturday when the team traded to drive Jordan Mason back from the 49ers, according to multiple reports.

In exchange for Mason, the 49ers will receive the Vikings' 6th round draft picks for the 2026 2026 and two teams who will exchange picks in this year's draft. According to ESPN's Adam Scheffter.

The Vikings will receive a No. 187 pick, while San Francisco will win a No. 160 pick.

Mason, 25, and the Vikings also agreed to the terms to sign the two-year extension. His agents Jason and Michael Katz have signed a two-year extension.

The Georgia Tech graduate will play together as he begins running with Aaron Jones, who recently signed a two-year, $20 million contract to return to Minnesota.

The 30-year-old Jones was greeted by the Vikings ahead of last season and set a career-high with touches, carry and offensive snaps in his first year with the team.

Minnesota has so far made many moves in this year's NFL free agency, re-signing or buying 10 players since Wednesday.

The Vikings acquisition revealed that future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers wants to sign this offseason, according to Athletic.
