Rep. Jasmine Crockett, on the far left, questioned whether the US would hold a presidential election in four years, doubled her previously stated crackpot story of President Trump as a dictator who had been bent to revoke democratic norms.
Crockett spoke in the “Confederation Status” program on CNN on Sunday morning, hosted by left-leaning anchor Jake Tupper.
“You're intimate with Congressman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez… I've heard that some of your fellow House Democrats have said this as well as progressive, as moderates — they've heard she's ready to challenge Chuck Schumer in the Democratic primary. Are you in the back?” Tupper asked.
“That's four years from now. If you were asking me in at least two years, I have an absolute answer,” the Texas lawmaker said.
“But you can say there are a lot of people who are seeing this leadership at this moment. This is the moment. If there is an election, you don't even know what an election will look like in four years,” she said before diagonally referring to the need for “young, fresh” leadership without directly answering the question.
Tupper never challenged her election claim.
Schumer launched a fierce fire from within his own party after voting for a Republican plan to avoid a federal shutdown.
On CNN Thursday, the AOC called Schumer's vote “a tremendous mistake” and denounced the GOP plan that was handed over to “turn the federal government into the Donald Trump and Elon Musk's Slash Fund.”
Crockett is famous for portraying controversy over wild statements and claims, including when he appeared on MSNBC earlier this month, calling Trump a “dictator” and “the enemy of the United States.”
She also cheated on the denial of the 2024 election results during the distribution of the government's efficiency subcommittee meeting last month.
In an interview with Vanity Fair last December, Crockett, 43, bumped into Hispanic voters who supported Trump tickets as “slavery mentality” in the year's election.
