Vinyl defeated the moon owl in a stunning semi-final upset

On the other side of the bracket, Vinyl completed a spectacular upset against the moon owl thanks to a left-handed layup in the game by Dearica Hamby over Napesa Collier. The comeback was particularly surprising given the owls had full strength and lost one game during the season, but Vinyl didn't have Arike's ogamboir and entered the semi-finals with a 5-9 record.

Rhyne Howard He led the way with 23 points (9-24 FG), six assists, two steels and two blocks. Jordin Canada added 21 points with 8-13 FG, four assists and three rebounds, while Rae Burrell added 11 points from the bench.

Vinyl managed to overcome 36 points in a 16-24 shooting. Courtney Williams added 13 points from the bench, Skylar Diggins-Smith earned a chip with 10 points and eight assists, while Allisha Gray added 11 points. However, the moon owls were unable to hold a 13-point halftime lead and suffered a second loss of the year. Second, they experience an early exit despite being the most dominant and unparalleled team throughout the season.
