The Bengals have been in the contract with Ja'marr Chase and Tee Higgins on an extension, and will remain the wide receiver duo in Cincinnati for the next four years.
The new deal sets a new benchmark for the NFL contract, with Chase coming in four years, $161 million with a $161 million guarantee, while Higgins' contract guarantees a four-year, $115 million contract and a first two-year contract. According to Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports.
The deal marks Chase the highest-paid non-quarterly in NFL history, and Higgins now becomes the second highest-paid wide receiver in league history.
Chase was in the final year of his rookie contract, and Higgins received his second offseason franchise tag before finishing his long-term contract.
