Nikki Sperstra called out herself in her “Bulls T.”
In a candid interview with Miami HeraldNikki revealed what's been called “the next stage as a single mother in recovery,” and looked back on her DUI arrest, alcoholism and divorce from Miami Heat coach Eric Spoelstra.
“People are very quick to label women's gold diggers. “Yeah, if she's with someone who's been successful, she must be there for the money.”
“You really think it all came to the table by my husband? No one really knows what happened after all.”

In an interview with the Miami Herald, Nikki recalled being arrested for DUI before dating Spoelstra.
“That mug shot is like I'm coming out in Miami society and I remember feeling so shameful and embarrassed,” she said. “This is the cruel and cruel world I walk around.”
She sought treatment for drinking during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I was new and calm. I was married to a public figure, but I was very realistically considering my identity and who I was going to be, what I wanted as a grown woman and mother,” Nikki said. “I started these conversations with people who I thought were really celebrating the deep knowledge and experts of various industries. The response was really positive.”
Nikki openly discussing her drinkingnot to mention social media, but her treatment and recovery from her “Be Be: Her” podcast, previously known as “Knowledge with Nikki SPO”.
The influencer explained that she decided to publicly reveal herself in the past, calling herself to her “Bug-T” and defeating the critics by punching.
“I was deeply embarrassed by the way my history was alcohol and the way I let myself down and others. So instead of hanging this over my head, I'm going to start talking about it,” Nikki said, adding that she was inspired by the film “Eight Miles,” which pulled elements from Eminem's life.
“Then, by talking about it, I realized that I was able to not only heal, but also heal other people and help them feel alone.”
