President Donald Trump said he ordered the US Secret Service to stop protections for Hunter Biden and his sister Ashley Biden.
The president made the announcement on social media on Monday after noting that as many as 18 agents are providing security to Hunter Biden, while 13 agents are protecting their sister.
“Effectively, Hunter Biden will no longer receive Secret Service protection.”
“Hunter Biden has long been secret service protection, all of which are paid by US taxpayers. There are as many as 18 people in this detail. The president said.
“He is currently on vacation in every part of South Africa where people's human rights are being vehemently questioned, which is why South Africa is off the list of countries that receive economic and financial support,” he added.
“Immediately, I recommend that Hunter Biden no longer receive Secret Service protections,” Trump said. “Similarly, Ashley Biden, who has 13 agents, is off the list.”
Hunter Biden was on vacation in a gorgeous beachfront villa in South Africa to avoid depositing in California. According to New York Post report.
Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi only confirms the post that the security details are in place, but no other details were provided.
“While we cannot comment on the details of the safeguards and methods, we can confirm that Biden is a certified parent with the Secret Service in the United States,” he said.
Hunter Biden asked him to stop the lawsuit against Garrett Ziegler, a former Trump administration White House aide. Ziegler has published 128,000 emails allegedly found on a laptop Hunter Biden left in a computer store.
Social media critics accused the former president of the son of the former president, alleging that his paintings were no longer selling and that he was experiencing economic problems. Many imply that painting is a way for the Bidens to wash their money to sell political benefits while Joe Biden is in office.
