White House press secretary Caroline Leavitt criticized French lawmakers for demanding that the US return the Statue of Liberty, saying the US would “absolutely” return the statue.
That's what Levitt did during the White House press conference. I asked President Donald Trump “will send back the Statue of Liberty,” by Fox News' Peter Doucy. Livitt responded by offering advice to French politicians, saying that it was “just for the United States of America” that the French people “we don't speak German now.”
“We currently have members of the European Parliament from France. The United States no longer believes it represents the value of the Statue of Liberty. Are President Trump going to send back the Statue of Liberty, as they want to reclaim the Statue of Liberty?” Doucy asked.
“It's definitely not,” replied Levitt. “And my advice to that unknown, low-level French politician is to remind them that the French are not speaking German now only for the United States.
As previously reported by Simon Kent of Breitbart News, Socialist and Democrat group member Raphael Glucksmann expressed disappointment in the United States, stating that the United States “no longer represents the value of freedom” and demanding that the Statue of Liberty be returned.
In “The Convention of the Public Left Movement in His Place,” Glucksmann said:
Give us the Statue of Liberty.
We are going to tell Americans who fired their researchers to demand scientific freedom from tyrants and their ally. “Please return the Statue of Liberty.
We gave it to you as a gift, but apparently you're lightly spooning it. So it's fine at home here.
The Liberty statue, designed by Frédéric-Auguste Bartholdi, was shipped to the United States on June 17, 1886 and “arrived in New York.” Website.
After arriving in New York, “the statue “rejected what was then called Bedrow” until the completion of the pedestal in April 1886, and until former President Glover Cleveland “overseeing the dedication of the Statue of Liberty” on October 28, 1886.
