Singer Courtney Love announced in comments criticizing President Donald Trump that he has acquired British citizenship and planned to live in the UK forever.
Love was a former front woman at Bandhall and married Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain from 1992 to 1994 suicide.
At a Royal Geographical Society event held in London this month, the 60-year-old singer and songwriter shared his excitement about living in the UK and becoming a British citizen.

Love reportedly has been living in London since 2019, but is now planning to move more permanently.
“It's so great to live here. I've finally got British citizenship in six months. I can become a citizen – I'm applying, man! I can't drive me away!” According to the report, she said. Daily Mail.
The singer criticised Trump and his allies, calling America “now scary.”
“Trump, especially from the perspective of this group… it's like the Emperor's core – [they’re] I wear a multi-million dollar watch,” she said.

“The Emperor's core is going on in Mar-a-Lago. It's scary right now. It's like cyanide now,” she continued.
“Core” is Internet slang attached to a word as a suffix to describe the aesthetic or trend associated with the word.
She's not the only celebrity to announce that she's fleeing America in Trump's second season.
Actresses Rosie O'Donnell and Ellen DeGeneres also reportedly moved abroad after the 2024 election to escape the new administration.
