Olivia Culpo was shed tears as she described many health issues she dealt with during her first pregnancy.
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model, 32, and her husband, star Christian McCaffrey of 49ers, announced last week that they are expecting their first child.
In a video posted to Tiktok on Tuesday, Kalpo said she was on a break for several weeks after suffering from pneumonia, purges and a subkalionic hematoma that caused “severe bleeding” in the uterus.
“I had pneumonia and I was sick for two weeks. Overall, I was really on bed rest for four weeks. Towards the end of the two really sick weeks, I was basically a uterine thrombus and bleeding everywhere.
“So, at this point I was so exhausted, but for two weeks I couldn't move and just purged it all out of nowhere. It was a lot. It was heavy… I went to the doctor.
Calpo said she was nine weeks pregnant when she filmed the video on December 12th.
A subkalionic hematoma or bleeding is bleeding between the wall of the uterus and one of the sacs (chorion). All the Cleveland Clinic.
Calpo explained that after being checked out by the doctor, the baby was fine, unable to travel for a while and had to stay in the bed rest.
“I'm really grateful that everything is going well so far. So anyone with a sub-kalionic hematoma or SCH… I hope this video will be useful if you've experienced a lot of severe bleeding during your first pregnancy.
“…I can't even think about the devastation you feel like you've lost a baby at any stage. God, I can't even go there. I hope this will help someone feel alone.”

In 2020, Calpo underwent surgery for endometriosis. This is the growth of abnormal tissues outside the uterus, which can cause pain, irregular periods and infertility. New York Endometriosis Center.
Calpo and McCaffrey tied the knot in the star-studded Rhode Island incident last June.
Calpo, who has been with us since 2019, got engaged in April 2023.
