The JFK file has been released.
The Trump administration released 80,000 files related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on Tuesday evening. Since the fateful day in Dallas, it has sparked a frenzy of bait among amateur historians, conspiracy enthusiasts and experts who have studied the events of November 22, 1963.
It was not immediately clear whether the files covered new information about the death of the 35th President. Most of it appeared to be related to the initial investigation into the 1964 Warren Commission's assassination.

In accordance with President Donald Trump's orders of March 17, 2025, all records have previously been withheld due to classification that is part of the John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection.
The National Archives partners with federal agencies to comply with the president's orders and support Executive Order 14176.
As of March 18, 2025, it can be accessed online at the National Archives in College Park, Maryland on this page or directly online, in hard copy or analog media formats. Records will continue to be digitalized and will be posted on this page.
