An Idaho judge denied Brian Coberger's request to submit defense experts to provide testimony to his moves and the prosecutor's theory of Amazon's shopping history.
“Information that is intended to convey information may be presented by declaration,” Judge Stephen Hippler wrote on Tuesday. “Attorneys may be able to use witnesses through video streaming during a hearing and if the court determines that contact from the witness is necessary, the court may allow such testimony via video live stream.”
One of the experts is David Howell, who had planned to call the National Defense as part of Coburger's bid to hide Amazon's shopping records and “click activities” from the ju apprentice.

Defendant Elisa Massoth argued that Amazon evidence, including the app's “click activity,” should not be featured in court. This is because the terminology is said to be vague and not defined by the prosecutor or explained the nature of expert testimony.
“The refinement of all Amazon history and all states of Amazon click activity is out of context, incomplete and unjustly prejudiced, so it is unacceptable,” she continued.

Massos also claimed that Amazon's AI-Driven Algorithms By offering products that “shape users' behavior,” we predict shoppers will be interested along with paid advertising.

No suspicious murder weapons have been found, but authorities have recovered the Ka-Bar knife sheath under the body of one of the victims who allegedly carry the Coberger DNA knife sheath.
Amazon Records is not available, but it could indicate a purchase of Ka-Bar: NBC's “Dateline” reported in 2023 that Kohberger purchased Ka-Bar Knife on Amazon in 2022 to attend Washington State University. The reports have not been independently verified.

The other expert hipler's order identified was Sy Ryan, a reference to Sy Ray, an expert in geofencing and tracing movements via telephone data.
Neither the authorities nor Anne Taylor, Coberger's lead lawyer, responded immediately to a request for clarification.
The defense planned to call Ray according to an analysis of FBI agents Nicholas Balance and interpretation of the phone tower and call record.
