Attorney General Pam Bondy issued rules on Wednesday overturning the ATF's decades-long ban against restoring gun rights.

Schumer's amendment dated October 6, 1992 prohibits the ATF from using funds “to investigate or remedy applications for federal firearms damage relief under 18 USC 925(c).”
Gore posted a copy of Bondi's rules to X.
This Interim Final Rule (“IFR”) amends the Department of Justice (“Department”) in relation to alcohol, tobacco, firearms and explosives (“ATF”) by effectively retracting Musiah regulations regarding how the ATF effectively adjudicates the application of relief from disability imposed by certain firearms laws and how to withdraw related delusions.
The rules are scheduled to be made public on March 20th in the Federal Register and will take effect immediately upon publication.
