Border Emperor Tom Homan revealed Wednesday that he was criticised by lawmaker Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) as a sign that he was “doing the right thing” by leading President Trump's efforts to crack down on illegal immigration.
“I am delighted with the fact that I can live her heart's rent free every day,” Homan said Wednesday as “Ingraham Angle” host Laura Ingraham's “Ingraham Angle.”
“It means I'm above my target, and that means I'm making a difference,” Trump administration officials added.
Ocasio-Cortez recently argued that his frequent appearances on cable news programs “deprive resources” from law enforcement efforts to combat illegal activities.
“Every time you watch Tom Homan on Fox News, every time you watch Kristi Noem, every time you see these law enforcement officers doing flashy TV interviews, you realize that they are taking resources away from watching human trafficking. YouTuber Brian Tyler Cohen.
Homan insists that it is not.
“The bottom line is that she needs to see the data,” the border emperor told Ingraham. “We have already arrested illegal criminal aliens in six weeks than the Biden administration did in a year.”
“The border is sealed – a 96% reduction in immigration,” Homan argued. “And 96% will encounter fewer people across that border. How many children will not die? How many women are there not sex trafficking? Are suspicious terrorists not winning the country? How many pounds of fentanyl aren't killing Americans?”
“This administration has done more than she's ever done or ever because of the safety and security of New York.”

Homan argued that the Trump administration was meant to “continue what we're doing” no matter what Ocasio-Cortez says.
“I don't run a popularity contest,” he added. “If she doesn't like me, I'll wear it as a badge of honor.”
“That means I'm doing the right thing.”
