Cam Ward had Cleveland fans on the edge of his seat when seen in a video posted on Browns tight end David Nyuk's Instagram Story on Wednesday.
Top 2025 NFL Draft prospects and former Miami Hurricane quarterbacks, Ward and Njoku, appeared to have encountered each other at the Hurricane training facility.
The quarterback situation is uncertain as the Browns, who won the second overall pick in this year's draft, misses a fair amount of time in 2025 as they re-smashed Achilles in January.
“That guy is going there, haa,” Jok said as Ward walked through the door. “Please come and talk to me well.”
“Cleveland! Cleveland!” replied Ward.
Njoku and Ward both starred due to the Hurricane.
The Titans have their first pick in the draft, followed by the Browns and the third Giants.
Former Colorado quarterback Shedur Sanders was rumored to have Shedale Sanders, the Big 12 offensive player of the year, tied him to Cleveland earlier this week.
Although Ward is considered a favorite drafted by Titan, uncertainty still exists on the draft board.
If the Browns were bent into hell in the draft ward, they could consider trading to the top spot, but that would cost more draft capital.
Word, who was a finalist in the Heisman Trophy in this past season, was Most Passing Touchdown one of the college football players this season (39).
After Watson's move backfired spectacularly, Ward was able to turn the tide in Cleveland.
The veteran quarterback trained hard while in medical boots at the team's practice facility on Tuesday.
But Watson has been mediocre at best since the Browns acquired him and gave him a fully guaranteed $230 million contract, and needs a future quarterback regardless of the circumstances of his injury.
The Browns bought Kenny Pickett last week in trade with the Eagles and visited free agent Russell Wilson.
Cleveland finished 3-14 mark in 2024, tied with the Giants and Titans to score the worst record in the league.
