The Tesla driver says he was laughed at on the streets since he was killed by death threats and Elon Musk joined Trump's team.
The two 53-year-old Mitchellfeldman bought their first Tesla ($85,000 Model Y) in 2022.
He said he fell in love with the technology and safety of the car.
Marketing business owner Mitchell got some odd comments about being a Tesla driver, but said there's nothing normal.
This was until Elon Musk was announced as the man leading the controversial government efficiency office of Donald Trump.
Mitchell said he received a ton of emails through the website of his company that is threatening him and his family.
Two weeks ago, Mitchell walked over him, laughing at him, asking if he “driving Tesla to support Elon.”
Despite the barrage of comments, Mitchell said his support for Tesla remains “still” and plans to order the new Model Y.
Mitchell, who is from northwest London, said:
“There were a lot of people who said I was brave and were saying what everyone else was thinking.
“But I was totally shocked by the reaction I received.
“There is a massive polarization in the scenery. Some praise Elon Musk, others don't.
“There doesn't seem to be a central basis, it's very binary.”
Mitchell was driving an Aston Martin DB11 Sports car before switching to Tesla in March 2022.
He said he bought a Tesla because he “loved” the technology behind the vehicle.
Mitchell said: “It was technology that drove me to Tesla.
“What was a big attraction to me back then was the vehicle's technology and safety.
“I had a sports car before, but it didn't have native integration with my phone.
There was no touch screen. Not intuitive, Tesla, I like the look of it.
“The appeal is technology, and I'm an engineer, so I had the appeal of having a relationship with Elon Musk.”
Initially, Mitchell said the comments he receives were “not surprising that Tesla is a nerd,” but nothing normal.
But after Elon Musk was tapped to lead to a change in the clumsy.
Mitchell said:
“But I never noticed that people associate art with artists.”
On March 6, 2025, Mitchell parked Tesla in the car park at a Teddy Sim concert at Wembley.
He said he could see the young man pointing at him and laughing, making him feel “violated.”
Mitchell said: “I parked outside the parking meter, and when I got up there was a young man with his partner and my daughter was pointing at me with a laugh.
“When I got out of the car, he got very sharp and said, 'I think you're in favor of Elon Musk, who drives one of them.'
“I felt like I was pretty violated. I didn't know what to say. He laughed at me and walked away with his family.
“I've never experienced anything like that.”
Mitchell then wrote a post about his experience with Linkedin. There he was a greater threat of repulsion and death as a result.
Despite the hatred he has received, Mitchell has no intention of getting rid of his Tesla and plans to order a new Model Y.
Mitchell said: “We have found out that the new Model Y is available in the UK. We are ordering a new model.
“We're waiting for a call from Elon Musk to say thank you for posting. Here's a free cybertruck.
“If anything, it made me more immobilized in my support.”
