Trump misses chance at March Madness bracket predictions, offers backdated one

President Donald Trump missed the deadline to fill out the marching mad bracket. But that doesn't mean he won't try and sneak one thereafter.

While talking to reporters outside the White House on Friday, Trump was asked by Fox News senior White House correspondent Peter Dousey if he would fill out the crazy brackets in March.

“I didn't. I should have. Was there any confusion? There's a couple, right?” Trump replied.

“I can give you one, but it's probably the background.”

This allows Trump to ignore rounds that have ruined almost every bracket in the country.

The number of perfect brackets for the NCAA Tournament fell to 0.0044% of 34 million throughout the early first round game on Friday, according to the NCAA.

ESPN's tracker listed the 1,098 perfect brackets remaining on the site after Ole Miss 71-64 victory In North Carolina. The game also took out over 100 brackets on Yahoo Sports' Men's Bracket Mayhem, leaving essentially 81 perfect brackets at 0%.

CBS Sports had a similar turnover rate in unharmed parentheses of 0.005% after the Ole Miss victory.

Over 85% of Yahoo's brackets had moved Clemson forward, but the Tigers lost to McNees State 69-67. The game also knocked out 6.6 million ESPN brackets.

Clayton was listed as ESPN's top bracket buster after knocking out 13,339,089 in his first game on Thursday.

Conversely, ESPN reported that all picks were wrong with 30 brackets.
