The lawsuit filed late Friday denies the Trump administration Shut down illegally The US Voice is asking federal courts to restore the outlet that has been providing news about the US to countries around the world for decades.
The case, filed in US District Court in New York, comes from President Trump's representatives, by President Trump's Arizona candidates for Global Media and Lake Kali, as well as reporters without borders, reporters without borders, and a handful of unions.
“In many parts of the world, there is no significant source of objective news, leaving only news media sponsored by censored countries to fill the void,” the lawsuit said.
Lake describes broadcasting agencies as “huge corruption” that they have to be stripped and rebuilt.

The lawsuit accused the Trump administration of effectively illegally closing it last week. Republicans complain that news sources are infected with left-wing propaganda.

On Friday there was no immediate response to requests for comment from US global media agencies.
In an interview with Newsmax earlier this week, Lake described the American voice as “it's like having rotten fish and trying to find the part you can eat.”

In a post on X, she said the global media agency is “a huge corruption and burden on American taxpayers, and the national security risks of the nation — and irreparably broken.
Clayton Weimers, executive director of US Borderless Reporters, said his organization was forced to act to protect America's voice and the wider press-free community.
