The man reportedly pointed his gun towards a Los Angeles Police Station (LAPD) helicopter and barricaded it at his California residence.

On Friday, authorities responded to a home in the 20,000 block of Tipico Street around 2:24pm after a call about the attack with a fatal weapons suspect.
When officers arrived, the man pointed a shotgun above the head of a LAPD helicopter before lying next to a pool in his backyard, according to a spokesman. He said it is unclear whether the shooting was fired by Chopper.
Members of the SWAT team took the suspect into custody at 6:18pm
Following the criminal's arrest, nearby people who had evacuated during the event were allowed to return home.
According to the helicopter video KTLA-TVThe man was lying towards the side of the pool, with two obvious shotguns resting on a nearby table.
The owner of the house where the suspects were found says they don't know the man.
