“I think it's a 90-10 issue,” Trump said. “But when the voting booth closed, I realized it was 90-10… A lot of people aren't talking about it. I don't know why. I think they're making a mistake by not talking about it. It's so simple, it's very basic.”

Trump signed an executive order “No Men in Women's Sports” in early February, banning biological men from competing with women and girls in sports. The order called for the possibility that federal funds could be stripped from public schools if rules were still in place.

The president spewed Maine Governor Janet Mills about the issue as her state and several others ignored the order.

He said on Saturday he had never “heard” from Mills since he spewed the problem.

“Maine has apologised for the governor's strong but completely wrong about the man playing in women's sports at the White House Governor meeting, but we have never heard of it from the governor himself and she is important in such cases.”

“Therefore, we need a full throat apology from the governor herself and a statement that she will not again take on such an illegal challenge to the federal government, before we can resolve this case. I am sure she can do it very easily.

Maine agreed to follow Trump's executive orders to keep women from sports after traveling back and forth between transgender athletes.
