The massive spring break party was dispersed over the weekend by officers from Sunny Isles Beach, South Florida, after the tightness of the rally pushed swallow towards a normally sleepy community.
The footage on the phone saw a massive crowd huddled around the beach after an unperturbed gathering invitation was reportedly shared on social media.
Officers attempted to use bulls and sirens to disperse the crowd following a fight reportedly reportedly broke on the sand on Friday afternoon, as shown on Friday afternoon. Videos shared by Local10 News.
“A huge crowd started to lift up. There were two people actually fighting,” the witness said. Reported by WSVN.
Police in South Florida are heading north instead, following terrifying party attendees who regularly flock to Miami Beach, instead heading north after city leaders promised to face “the worst spring break in history.”
“Unauthorized gatherings and destructive behavior will not be tolerated,” the Sunny Isles Police Department posted on social media.
Officers broke up a rough day party also known as “dirty” in the Sunny Isles on Friday, but they're just one of many people cleaning up along Florida's east coast as the second wave of spring break ramps up.
The community north of Miami Beach is bearing the brunt of the city Spring break crackdown. In February, city officials alleged there was a stricter curfew and police presence than usual. In 2021, the city used its SWAT team to implement a strict 8pm curfew.
The threat appears to have worked again as spring break-related arrests in the city plummeted into 352 incidents, about 13% lower than last year, according to data provided by Miami Beach Police.
Fort Lauderdale sees the most actions as a result of the Miami Beach migration, despite assuring that police presence was similarly enhanced during spring break.
Fort Lauderdale was trying to follow in the footsteps of Miami Beach, but it didn't include curfew requirements and allowed students to roam freely.
It's days after illegal boxing matches in Fort Lauderdale, which includes a cryptocurrency-based betting system, sparked a chaotic scene.
Video footage from the battle showed over 100 people gathered around the sporadic battle as onlookers tried to turn eggs into competitors who were betting.
Spring breakers are stirring up trouble at the entire opposite end of the state. In Fort Myers, one student is a little further away from the man's ears during the battle on St. Patrick's Day.
He spewed racial slander at the man while he thrusts his face into the sand before disbanding the fight, police said.
