Media reports say peace talks with the US and Russian delegation aimed at ending the war in Ukraine are underway in Saudi Arabia on Monday.
The discussion came after Ukrainian President Voldimi Zelensky said he held a “very useful” meeting with the American team in Riyadh on Sunday.
“Our team works in a completely constructive way and the discussion is very useful. The delegation's work continues. But no matter what we are discussing with our current partner, Putin has to be pushed to issue a real order to stop the strike.
The US delegation with the Russians on Monday is led by Andrew Peak, senior director of the White House National Security Council, and Michael Anton, director of the State Department's policy planning staff, Reuters reported. The Russians are represented by Grigory Karasin, the leader of the Russian parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, and Sergei Beseda, an adviser to the Russian Federation's Security Agency.

According to a Russian state-run report, the delegation will focus on a ceasefire in the Black Sea Tas News Agency, Quoted from US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz. In the next phase of the discussion, both sides will discuss “issues relating to ceasefires, conditions of the peacekeeping department and territorial ownership.”
President Donald Trump's envoy, Steve Witkov, told Fox News that he doesn't think Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to invade Europe.
“Now I've been asking my opinion on what Putin's motivations are doing on a larger scale, and I just said I don't think he wants to take everything in Europe,” Witkov appeared on “Fox News Sunday.”

“This is a completely different situation than World War II. There was no NATO,” he added. “I will take him with his words in this sense.”
“I think Saudi Arabia will see some real progress on Monday, especially in Saudi Arabia, as it will affect the Black Sea ceasefire on ships between the two countries. And then you will naturally be drawn to a full fire ceasefire,” Witkov said on Sunday.
