Federal authorities representing districts along the southern US borders have been charged with immigration-related crimes in the third week of March.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) said Monday that it plays a key role in operations, a national initiative to dodge illegal immigration.
Specifically, in Arizona, Texas, California, and New Mexico, US lawyers have accused more than 840 individuals of violating US immigration laws.
In Arizona, lawyers have raised immigration-related charges against 217 suspects. Of these, the US submitted 91 cases involving immigrants who illegally re-enter the country, and accused 103 migrants of illegally entering the country.

The suspect facing additional crimes is suspected of murder, while another suspect was arrested on suspicion of assault with intent to rape, DOJ said.
