Rosie O'Donnell continues to comment on President Donald Trump following his move to Ireland.
Last week, O'Donnell was in Ireland.Late Late Show,” she discussed her recent decision to move out of the US, her long-standing feud with Trump, and more.
At one point, she mentioned Trump's comments about her to Ireland's Prime Minister Missial Martin during a visit to the White House earlier this month, admitting that Martin had written an apology.
She was shown a clip from her encounter with Trump and Martin, and when asked how it felt to see it, she said it was “very, very surreal.”
“He's been doing it for 20 years and I'm not used to it every time he does,” she added.
O'Donnell continued. “I respected that they put Taoijich (the Prime Minister of Ireland) in that position and that kind of leader had written a little note in his email when he was visiting the White House, and got a note that he thought he had received it, and that I had history.
During Martin's visit with Trump on March 12th, reporters asked him.
Before Martin could answer, Trump rang out, “It's true. I like that question. Do you know you have Rosie O'Donnell? Do you know who she is? You better not know.”
In her new interview, O'Donnell talked about Trump and her decision to leave the United States. She never imagined leaving the country and called winning the presidential election in 2024 “it's too sad to do too much for me personally and emotionally.”
When asked about her decision to move to Ireland, she also said, “The President of the United States has it for me and has it for 20 years.”
When Fox News Digital reached the White House for comment, they responded with “Good Riddance.”
O'Donnell and Trump Since 2006, she has been involved in the feud after he criticized “The View” for his generosity towards the Miss USA winner, who was accused of drug use and other bad behaviour.
Trump responded to criticism by calling O'Donnell a “real loser.”
Referring to Miss USA Tara Connor at the time, Trump said, “I believe in a second chance. Tara is a good guy. Tara worked so hard. Tara will be given a second chance.”
In 2014, O'Donnell claimed that his feud with Trump led to “the most bullying I've ever experienced in my life.”
Since Trump's first presidential run and victory, O'Donnell joked with “Late Night” host Seth Myers about how he's spending “about 90% of my working hours tweeting hatred for this administration.”
In 2015, Trump harshly answered questions about O'Donnell during a major Republican debate.
When asked about Trump calling women who sloppy names like “Fat Pig” or “Slob,” he laughed and replied, “Only Rosie O'Donnell.”
Last year's election, Trump raised O'Donnell's name again when he told the crowd that “the scenery” was “so bad” and “the scenery needs to be brought back” and “the scenery” was “so bad.”
