Nevada is investigating more than 300 possible voter fraud cases resulting from the 2024 general election, officials said.
“The Secretary of State's office takes all allegations of election goodwill violations very seriously and investigates them to the fullest extent of the law,” the Nevada Secretary of State Francisco V. Aguilar office said in an election goodwill report.
“The SOS office works very closely with the Attorney General's office throughout the investigation process. Once a decision is made regarding the validity of the claim, a report is prepared and referred to the external investigative body, including the Attorney General's Office and the county attorney general.”
According to the report, there were 303 instances of “double voting” (the same person trying to vote twice) detected in the 2024 general election.

The report says that each person trying to vote twice was caught before he voted for the second time, pointing out that trying to vote in Nevada or completing a voting twice is a felony.
Five cases have been closed without a civil or criminal action, and four have been referred to external agencies. The report does not specify which external agencies, whether citizens or criminals, are further investigating potential fraud cases.

Election integrity has been a major focus since 2020, when Trump challenged the outcome of his first bid for reelection.
The report, released in February by the Bipartisan Nonprofit Honest Election Project (HEP), addressed key election integrity measures, including voter ID, foreign influence in elections, ensuring voter procedures and maintaining accurate voter roles.
In its report, HEP pointed out how state legislatures across the country, with the help of the group, adopted various steps to secure the 2024 election from fraud.

“The issue of votes for election consistency was handed all over election night in full colour. Now that the state legislative session has begun, lawmakers are obligated to fulfill their obligations that make it easier for Americans to vote and difficult to deceive.”
