Two teachers at Georgia's small private Christian School have been charged with sexually abusing the same student, and more teachers could be involved, according to the accuser's lawyer.
Bonnie Elizabeth Brown, 25, and 60-year-old Sheri Del Mauldin were both charged with multiple felony charges allegedly abusing students. Georgie Investigation Bureau announced Monday. Brown is also the former homecoming queen of the same school.
“These women used my status as teachers,” said the unidentified accuser. 11 said he was alive In a statement released through lawyer Ashley Mitchell.
“My school didn't protect me as a child,” the accuser claimed the accuser without detailing how old the alleged abuse was.
“I'm watching it now and hope that these arrests will protect our community and the children within it,” the accuser said, saying they were “reliable” with the arrest.
The teacher abused students “at school and outside of school,” Mitchell told the outlet.
One of the teachers had been previously cited by school officials for inappropriate conduct with students, the lawyer said.
Mitchell said there may be more casualties and there will be more abusers.
“There's information that suggests that potentially other teachers may be involved in other victims,” she said.
Brown was arrested Friday for sexual contact with the accuser while employed at school. 11 According to Alive.
At the time of his arrest, Brown was teaching at a Wilkes County elementary school. She is charged with inappropriate sexual contact by an employee, agent or foster parent.
Mauldin was arrested Monday after an investigation by the GBI revealed that he sexually assaulted the accuser while employed at the school. She was charged with inappropriate sexual contact by an employee, agent or roster parent, aggravated child abuse and statutory rape.
The Greene County Sheriff's Office asked the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) to investigate the allegations last June when he fell into abuse.

School officials said in a statement Monday that they were aware of the teacher's arrest and were working with investigators. The administration and its board will hold emergency closure meetings to discuss the issue personally.
“The NGA's management committee and board will provide further information after the emergency board meeting,” school officials said.
The GBI said it posted that it has not released any additional information at this time as an investigation is underway.
Once the investigation is complete, the agency will hand over the case to the Ocmulgee District Attorney's Office.
