Megyn Kelly is starting her own podcast network, having elevated her status in the political media landscape through her extensive background in cable and network news.
“MK Media” is a newly launched podcast network for both video and audio broadcasts that began in April and will feature creators in news and entertainment, as announced by Firebrand commentators on Tuesday.
The initial shows on MK Media will be led by supporters of independent journalist Mark Halperin, columnist Maureen Callahan, and influencer and political commentator Link Lauren.
“We are thrilled to kick off MK Media and utilize our platform to assist individuals who are sane, rational, and at ease in this innovative media sphere to cultivate their own audiences,” Kelly expressed in a statement. “I’m a major supporter of Mark, Maureen, and Link, and I believe our audience will be just as enthusiastic to hear more from them.”
Kelly started an audio-only podcast in 2020 and struck a deal with SiriusXM in 2021, transitioning to a live daily radio show and broadening its video offerings.
Kelly’s podcast is among the most popular political shows in the country, with snippets from her monologues and interviews frequently garnering hundreds of millions of views each month across social media platforms.
The former Fox News host Kelly is a strong ally of President Trump and interviewed his defense secretary, Pete Hegseth, for various discussions earlier this year during the Senate confirmation process.
Recently, Fox Corporation purchased Red Seat Ventures, the company behind Kelly’s programs and its advertising sales.
