LeBron James reveals truth behind Pat Riley cookie fiasco

That's how Cookie collapsed with LeBron James.

When he appeared on the “Pat McCuffy Show” on Wednesday, James recently looked back on the wild story that his teammate Dwyane Wade shared.

“That's true,” James said.

“It wasn't [Pat Riley] I was on the plane and was about to get some cookies. At some point, I know how the story can be built into Sasquatch. ”

James, 40, explains that “everyone knows” his biggest inverse is a chocolate chip cookie, and has become accustomed to receiving snacks from women who baked on the flight until that fateful day.

“Then I got on, I looked at them, they looked at me, and I 'it doesn't look familiar,' and I was, and I said, 'No, we're not allowed, there's no more cookies on these flights,” James recalled.

“And we all know where it came from. I saw D-Wade, D-Wade saw me.

Wade, who went to the NBA Finals for four consecutive NBA Finals with James while running in South Beach at two championships in 2012 and 2013, sparked buzz in February with Cookie's story description.

“You're talking about the teams that are in the finals for the fourth time in a row. You don't need to micromanage us. I felt that 'Lil' was a little too far in his micromanaging at such a point. He's a grown man. You don't take cookies from him,” Wade said on the “Underground Lounge” podcast.

James gained talent in Miami in 2010 after spending seven seasons in Cleveland.

The four-time NBA champion returned to the Cavaliers in the Heat, following the 2013-14 season.

James added that he must go to Cleveland leaving the heat behind when the time comes for “Wade to get paid” in Miami Brass.

“That was when D-Wade gets paid at some point when I left and they didn't want to pay D-Wade and D-Wade's left. When Wade County left and had to go to Chicago, I saw the situation with cookies.

James won the championship with the Cavaliers in June 2016, two years before joining the Lakers.

He won the NBA title against Los Angeles in the Disney Bubble during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic.
