Amazon Unveils Game-Changing AI ‘Interests’ Tool for Shoppers!

Amazon has introduced a beta version of a new AI tool designed to highlight products based on the interests of various shoppers in the US.

This feature, referred to as “interest” by Amazon, utilizes an extensive language model to “automatically interpret everyday language that traditional search engines typically process, transforming it into attributes that can be used for product suggestions,” the e-commerce leader announced on Tuesday.

Amazon noted that a “limited group” of US customers who currently use AI shopping tools can find interests in the “Me” tab of the Amazon Shopping App.

The interest feature operates by “constantly scanning Amazon’s inventory and actively alerting you about new, relevant products, restocks, and sales.” This happens after users provide queries like “latest pickleball gear and accessories” and “natural makeup products for summer shine from leading brands.”
