Korean Motorcyclist that Fell into Sinkhole Found Dead

The motorcyclist was found dead after disappearing into a huge sinkhole in South Korea's largest city.

Sink hole, Estimated Authorities, which are about 65 feet wide and 65 feet deep, were held at an intersection in eastern Seoul's Myonggildong district on Monday afternoon. The sinkhole also injured a woman who had the van passed the intersection.

Emergency officer Kim Jang Sobu has identified the victim as a man in his 30s. Kim said the man was found wearing a helmet and boots.

It reportedly took almost 18 hours to find the victim as emergency responders had to pump water and dig into the dirt and debris.

City officials said the cause of the collapse is under investigation.

Camera footage from the dashboard showed the rear wheels narrowly clean the hole, then the car bouncing violently as the motorcycle and rider plunged into the crack.

The cause of the sinkhole remains unknown and is under investigation.
