DJ Daniel, a 13-year-old cancer survivor, became famous for President Donald Trump's joint speech to Congress earlier this month, and officially reported his mission at the U.S. Secret Service Training Center.
Daniel was with Christinem, Director of Homeland Security (DHS) on March 19 at the James J. Raleigh Training Center in Beltsville, Maryland. X's post.
“We are here today with our Secret Service Agent DJ, at our 445 class special agent graduation ceremony,” Noem said in a social media video. “And again, Director Karan.”
“Yes, and our latest agent,” exclaimed Curran.

“Yes, we're looking for the best and brightest,” Noem concluded.
After graduation and lunch, Daniel's visit was action-packed. The Secret Service said in a media release that “it included a garage and driving pads where special agents and uniformed officers train to drive emergency vehicles.”
He also got to “see inside the Special Operations Division, which provides tactical support for the protective details of the Secret Service,” after rising up near the president's limousine, known as the Beast.
From there, Daniel was able to watch the dog demonstration before checking out the weapons lab, and a trained Secret Service driver got into the audience “with fast-paced operation.”

“It was fun,” Daniel said in a statement. “I didn't expect the car to be that fast.”
Law enforcement enthusiasts concluded their day with a message to children with cancer.
“Have faith. Trust in God. Listen to your parents,” he said.

On March 4th, Daniel received a standing ovation from the majority of the crowd, but some Democrats were seen sitting on camera at various times while Trump spoke about the 13-year-old.
“DJ tonight, we're going to give you the greatest honor of all of them,” Trump said. “I'm asking new Secret Service Director Sean Curran to officially become an American agent.”
The next day, Daniel visited Trump in his White House oval office.

“When I went to the office, he (President Trump) was surprised to see me. I brought him a cowboy hat,” Daniel, who lives outside of Houston, said in a statement.
After doctors gave him at most five months when he was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2018, and then at most five months, the Texas teenager “is part of a research study that has received over 13 brain techniques and given his family hope,” the Secret Service said in a media release.
