Seven Republicans who anonymously criticized Vice President JD Vance, who reluctantly to attack Houthis, may have put the American Jewish community at risk by choosing Jewish insiders as their forum for complaints.
Vance's views on the attack appeared in leaked, leaked signal group chats. Atlantic Ocean. Vance's view on foreign policy is close to that of the GOP's isolationist wing, but he was consistently Israel too.
Many American Jews are concerned that isolationism, whether on the left or right, also has hostility towards Israel, and perhaps anti-Semitism.
While President Donald Trump's “America First” foreign policy always includes solid defense of Israel, there are isolationists who argue that “America First” should also mean aid and support for Israel.
Among these isolationists are a small but small number of critics and commentators who have expressed a complete anti-Semitic view or at least entertained anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and radical anti-Israel views.
Jewish Insider is an online news outlet that covers politics and international issues. that It's covered The signal controversy in Thursday's article also included criticism of Vance's views from seven Republican senators.
Vance's criticism, especially in Jewish publications, is that it can fuel isolationists who falsely argue that the foreign policy of America's past interventionists is linked to Israel and Jews.
By choosing Jewish insiders as a forum for Vance's criticism, critics call them “Seven Linos,” which critics call them, uses the Jewish community as a shield.
The result could be more offensive rhetoric from the extreme right (extreme left rhetoric within the Democrats) that target the American Jewish community as a source of foreign policy dissatisfaction.
Despite records of support for Israel, Jewish insiders risk repeating the mistakes of the Israeli era of ten years of tension in Israel's editors, who often sensationalize efforts to link Trump to anti-Semitist rights.
