Doge has reported that it has terminated 108 unnecessary contracts.
This action is expected to generate savings of $70 million.

Doge has identified various instances of inefficient government spending.
Another instance involved a $5.2 million contract with the U.S. Personnel Management, part of the federal government’s Office of Human Resources, aimed at “providing strategic recommendations and support to enhance and transform existing processes and organizational systems.”
Doge has also disclosed a $51 million reduction from the US African Development Foundation, which included hundreds of thousands of dollars on mango drying facilities for promoting shea butter and pineapple juice.

Recently, the US Coast Guard contributed to saving $32.7 million by discontinuing the “inefficient IT program,” which was known as the logistics information management system.
