The debut episode of Beshear’s podcast, titled “The Pilot,” was revealed on Tuesday. In this episode, Beshear interviews John Morgan, a prominent political donor, along with Will, his son.
The launch of Beshear’s podcast closely follows Newsom’s introduction of his own. Both governors have been mentioned as possible contenders for the 2028 presidential race, with the Kentucky governor previously considered as a potential running mate for former Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.
Newsom’s podcast, “This Is Gavin Newsom,” has featured notable supporters of President Trump, such as Charlie Kirk and Steve Bannon, which has drawn some criticism from leftist circles. Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz (D), Harris’ final vice presidential selection, was also highlighted in a recent episode of Newsom’s show.
