An employee at Walmart in Newton County, Georgia, shot one person and another in his residence early Friday morning.
Associated Press It's attracting attention A shooting inside the store occurred at 1:30am, killing an employee and injured another employee. The gunman then went to a nearby residence and killed the others.
Fox 5 Atlanta It has been reported The individual killed in the house was also a Walmart employee.
The violence began when one employee left the store, retrieved a gun from his car, and then returned inside. He was captured just beyond the Georgia State Line in Aiken, South Carolina.
Law enforcement shows that the gunman, two dead victims and the injured victim were “all acquaintances.”
The Newton County Sheriff's Office said “the suspects targeted individuals they knew.”
