First on FOX: Senator Dan Sullivan of R-Alaska literally tore a list of 70 orders, former President Joe Biden stunted the energy capabilities of the last frontier and spoke on Thursday about the bright future of Midnight Sun Land.
Sullivan described the Trump administration's openness to building an 800-mile LNG pipeline to empower the United States and trade with Asia.
The pipeline runs from Prudho Bay in the Arctic Ocean to the Kenai Peninsula near Homer. Now, essentially, the only way to transport liquefied natural gas on the north slope is through the AK-11 Dalton Highway of the fame of “ice road truck drivers” that is considered extremely inefficient and dangerous.
“It's a big project and is very geographically important, of course, for Alaskans, getting the gas they need is important. [South] Korea, Japan, Taiwan, the energy they need. ”

Sullivan said Japan is still buying oil and gas from Russia. Meanwhile, sources familiar with pipeline planning said the Alaska-to-Asia trade routes do not include diplomatic or geographical pinch points that exist in the Middle East and elsewhere.
“South Korea and Taiwan are getting LNG from Qatar, which makes no sense. Alaska is really close -We were the first place in the world to begin exporting LNG in the late 1960s,” he said.
In his joint speech to Congress, the president Donald Trump He flagged the pipeline plan and said he is working on a “huge” project in Alaska.
In tariffs and trade news, Sullivan said that building a pipeline obtained through US environmentally conscious means and supplying both North America and Asia to LNG could reduce the trade deficit from the West to the East by up to $10 billion a year.
Furthermore, the pipeline itself can “vitalize” the country's steel industry and employ thousands of Americans.
He also sought to dispel the “misacy” that is often advertised on the left, as LNG territory and its surrounding native communities oppose such developments.
“Most media makes that wrong,” he said.
“Allaska Native Americans want to complete this resource development. This is a way to help them not only in the economy, but in their health, pride and what's right. The best social programs in the world are a good job.”

Instead, he said the Biden administration fought Juneau's efforts to expand energy production at every turn.
“8 times [the Biden Interior Department] I said [Natives visiting Washington] Hit the sand. They would never have met with them to develop their resources. ”
Regarding politicians from other states who are allegedly trying to decide on energy policy in Alaska, whether for the environment or for other reasons, Sullivan said, “I don't appreciate the 48 radical environmentalists who can tell us what to do.
“You may have seen him give a speech on the Senate floor last week.
Regarding his discussion with Trump, he said. Secretary Scott BessentHoward Lutnick and Doug Burgham were very open and supportive.
Funding is the next major battle: a mutual trade agreement with the target countries.
“That way we can start funding and building these projects. We're talking about laying pipes at the end of this year or early next year, and we're thinking about the work that comes with it.”

Turning to Biden, Sullivan held a sheet showing 70 executive orders and the “closure” and lawsuit taken by the administration [Alaska] under. “
“The left-wing media never cry about the work killed by Biden. Good union work; 70 EOS. The good news is history now,” he said.
The project is the only West Coast venture to secure federal permits and is a $26 million loan guarantee. It uses over 500,000 tons of steel and 5 million cubic yards of concrete.
In a statement to Fox News Digital, Energy spokesman Ben Cietderich said Alaskan LNG has “a great potential.”
“Access to over 100 trillion cubic feet of north slope natural gas will provide enormous energy security to the US and its allies and thousands of well-paid jobs, and is estimated to reduce by $10 billion a year,” Mietderich said.
“While the previous administration has openly discouraged US investment in LNG, President Trump and Secretary Wright have pledged to expand American energy both at home and abroad.”
“The massive investment and partnership in US LNG projects, including Alaska LNG, was discussed at a meeting of the Secretary with UAE officials yesterday, and the Secretary intends to raise these in Saudi Arabia in the coming days.”
