China Is an Adversary and Threat

China is an enemy and a threat, Sen. Tom Tiffany (R-WI) told BReitbart News Daily When asked if his colleagues view the country as an enemy.

“Do you think Congress probably considers China as an enemy or a threat?” host Mike Slater asked Wisconsin Republicans during a debate on Friday, in a discussion centered around his actions to remove the United States from the World Trade Organization (WTO).

“It's certainly a threat,” replied Tiffany. “When I'm trying to be diplomatic, I hope I don't want to use the term enemy. It's certainly the enemy because when you're stealing intellectual property, that's what they're doing – when you use forced labour, they're really against American values.”

He explained that these American values ​​have not changed.

“We don't believe in slave labor. We believe in property rights, and China doesn't believe in them. So when they're doing that, they're the enemy,” he said.

“And on top of that, if you run spy balloons in the United States… when there are these police stations we know, we can look to Minneapolis, such places, to the Chinese, and people all over the world who consider them enemies and enemies, said, “When they're happening in our own soil, it's time for the US to rethink our relationship with China. That's exactly what's going on right now. This is why we have this WTO resolution before Congress.”
