Woman who apparently punched pro-life activist during street interview has been arrested

A woman appears to have attacked a life support interviewer in the video has been arrested by the New York Police Department.

Savannah Craven Antao said on Instagram that she was notified of the arrest of 30-year-old Brianna J. Rivers.

“Thank you to the detective at 28 NYC!”

When Antao met Rivers, a fierce advocate for abortion rights, he was interviewing people about the topic of a live-action pro-life advocacy group. After a few minutes of discussion about the issue, Rivers punches Antao without warning, then walks away, the video showed.

Rivers was then filming the incident on Antao's husband, who cried out, “Suck my ****.”

The 23-year-old pro-life activist suffered a laceration to an eyebrow and posted images of his bloody face on social media.

“Detective Brianna J. Rivers has just been arrested! God is good!” I said Antao in Thursday's Instagram post. “Thank you to the detective at 28 NYC!”

Rivers attempted to justify her actions by calling Antao a “professional antagonist,” and accused her of making a seemingly edited video posted on social media.

“I'm not the answer to someone having their hands on me, but throwing a rock and hiding my hands is a bad thing,” Rivers said. “She knows the truth and needs to release the entire footage.”

Live-action president and founder Lila Rose has issued a rebellious statement saying that her organization will not be threatened and will continue to seek a refund of planned custody from abortion providers.

New York Post I said Neither Kawa nor Antao responded to requests for comment.
