Man arrested near UnitedHealthcare campus in Minnesota

An intruder was arrested Monday near United Healthcare headquarters in Minnesota, months after the company’s CEO was shot in New York City.

The unidentified suspect was found around 11am in a parking lot outside the United Healthcare Corporate Campus, located outside Minneapolis, Minnetonka, city spokesman Andy Wittenborg told the Associated Press.

Fox News Digital has contacted the city and the Minnetonka police.

The man appeared at a security checkpoint where he was not supposed to be, Wittenborg said. He eventually surrendered peacefully to the police about an hour later.

Police said there was no threat to the public. The FBI responded to the scene as well.

The incident had nothing to do with the murder of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson in December 2024.

Thompson was shot while walking to an investor meeting a few blocks away.
