Diddy pleads not guilty, lawyers claim 200k documents needed for trial

Sean “Diddy” Combs pleaded not guilty to new charges Monday during his arrest in a federal sex trafficking case.

Diddy, 55, appeared in a Manhattan courthouse, who appears to have a stone face, mostly gray hair and beard, but smiled when he met his two lawyers, Tenny Jelagos and Mark Agnifilo.

His lawyers sought a delay to the trial, which is expected to begin next month, and alleged that the US lawyers’ office in the Southern District of New York has withheld more than 200,000 documents related to the case.

Diddy was hit with two new charges in the April 3rd lawsuit. Federal prosecutors have been accused of relocating a woman known as “Victim 2” across state boundaries to engage in prostitution between 2024 and 2024, as the rapper allegedly engaged in sex trafficking of a female victim in 2024.

Geragos admits that her “question is unusual” requires the government to take over information from witnesses, but that emails and texts have not been fully provided to the national defense.

Slavik allegedly provided the document to Diddy’s team related to keyword searches, and the judge suggested that the prosecutor hand over the full document via thumb drive or face a postponement or subpoena.

“As for the request for delay, we are a freight train heading to trial,” Judge Subramanian said, asking the lawyer to file the request within the next 48 hours. The lawyer will return to court on Friday, April 18th.
