Threatening Accusations Against Former Prince Andrew

Recently, a 39-year-old man entered a not guilty plea in connection with allegations of threatening former Prince Andrew near his residence at the Sandringham estate.

Alex Jenkinson is accused of making threatening and abusive remarks towards Andrew, who lost his royal title last year due to associations with Jeffrey Epstein.

Jenkinson faces two charges for threatening Andrew on Wednesday, along with another count related to a separate incident involving a different individual on Tuesday.

Former Duke of York is slated to testify at the trial, which is set for July 29 at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.

According to reports, Andrew was out walking his dog when a man wearing a mask shouted at him. Police noted that they responded to the scene and arrested Jenkinson on suspicion of violating public order and possessing an offensive weapon.

This incident comes a few months after Andrew was detained on allegations of misconduct in connection with his relationship with Epstein and his role as a British trade envoy.

After being evicted from his Windsor residence, Andrew moved to Sandringham earlier this year.

His main accuser, Virginia Giuffre, had claimed she was coerced into sexual activities with the royal family starting at age 17. Andrew has consistently denied these allegations but settled a civil lawsuit with Giuffre in 2022. Tragically, she passed away by suicide in 2025.

During his court appearance via remote connection from the police investigation center in King’s Lynn, Jenkinson had a sling around his arm and admitted to failing to provide a blood sample while in custody. He has since been granted bail on the condition that he stays away from several royal locations and has no contact with Andrew.
