The clarification of Miami Dolphins I’ll continue.
Star cornerback after the ongoing Saga retirement around left tackle Terron Armstead and wideout Tyreek Hill Jalen Ramsey added another tier of Tumult by agreeing to work with Miami on potential trade.
This is a major blow to the dolphins. After cutting Kendall Fuller in the offseason, Ramsey moved and it became a secondary toy land. Safety Jevon Holland is now a New York giant, which has Storm Duck, Kader Kohou and Ethan Bonner the first three names at cornerback. It’s not a unit that will boost your confidence in a franchise that needs to start a big game win. On top of that, there is no depth on either side of the ball, potential Tyreek Hill trade, general uncertainty surrounding the team, and not a great outlook for South Beach for 2025.
For Ramsey, I’m curious to see what his market will be like. He’s exercising, but he’s still physical enough to show up and tackle, and is one of the cleverest DBs in the game. However, contracts are also an issue, and will undertake over $20 million a year for the duration of the contract.

At this point, which teams can sign a contract for Ramsey?
Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders have enough cap space to promote such trade, and I think that makes sense to them too. Pete Carroll as head coach, they may be aiming to win a serious football match sooner than later. I think Ramsey is still a winning soccer player. The Raiders depth chart in the corner has been really disastrous since releasing Jack Jones, and Ramsey has given him a quality starter in many areas. Raiders Secondary has some solid names, but most of them have not been proven in the department where you have to perform Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert twice a year. I feel that Ramsey’s deal is truly likely for Vegas.
San Francisco 49ers
I’m curious to see what the Niners will do with their 11th pick in the draft, but if they choose to pick a defensive lineman as I think, Ramsey’s trade might be interesting. Adding Ramsey allows Niners to be more versatile with the other two DBs. The DeModore Lenoir can be played in nickel or outdoors, while the Renardo Green can be played on the opposite side of the Ramsey or Lenoir. Or I think if they want to bring Ramsey back to safety, he can play well next to Malik Mustafa. Either way, I think Niners can add even more veteran experiences to the group.
Arizona Cardinals
Is this considered a luxury for the Cardinals? Perhaps, but I will not rule out the possibility of their potential for another veterinarian in that position. Max Melton had an outside moment, but can trade Sean Murphy Bunting. Ramsey was able to score shots on teams on the brink of the playoffs, providing veteran leadership and stability among the younger horned groups. Cardinals have cap space to promote such trade, which I think is something they should consider.
Jacksonville Jaguar
There’s always time to go home. Ramsey began his career in Jacksonville, but I think it makes sense for both sides to be reunited. Whether it’s an external cornerback or a safe one, Ramsey meets the need for another impact player next to Tyson Campbell and Jordan Lewis. Also, if your team believes in Rookie Jalian Jones, you can play Ramsey safely. For a team using veterans to raise the roster floor, the Ramsey acquisition will be a hell of floor-up moves. The biggest problem is that Ramsey wants to return to Duval County.
