The growing political dating divide — and its consequences

On the right, growing with momentum, there is a movement that men and women are proud to build traditional nuclear families.

However, although the movement is strong, it appears that more women self-identifying as liberal and men self-identifying as conservatives are stronger. This has made it difficult for those who want to find an ideologically aligned partner where traditional family units want to build that family unit.

“The growing political gap between men and women exacerbated the challenge of finding love. According to Gallup, about 39% of women aged 18-29 who were identified as liberals in 2024 were more than 32%, and 28% of men were called liberals in 2014, compared to 25% of their male peers.”

“We saw it the other way around. Women who think, ‘I’m proud to be a Trump supporter’, don’t want to do anything with it, so they’ll be essentially boycotted by all the men they match,” he continues.

Politics makes it difficult for single men and women to find eligible partners, but Stu doesn’t believe it’s all bad.

“There’s not a huge disagreement about human core issues is the worst reason not to reach someone,” Stu says.
