Watch wild dashcam video of hit-and-run crash that led to bizarre chain of events culminating in arrest of rock star’s wife

Newly released Dashcam Video Last week, it marked a crazy hit-and-run accident moment in Southern California involving multiple vehicles, leading to a strange string of events leading to the arrest of the bassist wife of rock band Weather.

As reported previously by Blaze News, 51-year-old bestselling author Jillian Lauren Shriner was arrested last Tuesday and charged with attempted murder of a peace officer.

“It’s crazy that only one man can cause so much confusion.”

Schliner left his home in Los Angeles’ Eagle Rock area, and at the same time police flocked to the area to search for three suspects involved in the hit and run incident. Police say Schliner was armed with a handgun.

“The officer ordered Schliner to drop the handgun multiple times, but she refused.” KNBC-TV. “Then Schliner pointed a handgun at an officer and there was a shooting involving the officer.”

Jennifer Falksh, spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department; Los Angeles Times Schliner reported that he “pointed the gun at the police officer” and “opened the fire.”

The officers returned the fire and were told he shot Schliner in the shoulder, then she fled to her house.

Schliner was then told he left her house and surrendered to the police. She was taken to a hospital that was not a life-threatening gunshot wound.

Police reportedly recovered a 9mm handgun from Schliner’s home.

Shriner – Weezer Bassist Scott Shriner’s wife – was taken into custody but was released after posting a $1 million bond.

Officers reportedly arrested suspected hit-and-run drivers in a nearby backyard. The video appears to show the suspect trying to fit in with the neighborhood, wearing only a boxer, trying to fit in with the neighborhood.

The man was arrested and charged with one hit and run of misdemeanor. He is said to have been involved in a car accident along with two other vehicles on a nearby highway.

The video shows a grey sedan slashing across multiple lanes, slamming it into a black car, causing Tesla to crash into another vehicle from the rear.

David Gonzalez was driving a new Tersa while he was involved in a three-car crash.

“I thought I was on an episode of ‘GTA’,” Gonzalez said of the crash, referring to Grand Theft’s automatic video game. “To be honest, that’s not happening.”

Gonzalez suffers from a broken back and arm injured in the collision, and needs surgery.

His Tesla, which he purchased just two weeks ago, was totaled.

“Ripple effect. At the moment, we didn’t know what happened, but it’s crazy that one man is causing so much confusion,” Gonzalez said of the event following the car accident.

Schliner is scheduled to return to court on April 30th.
