Jena Sims said she and her husband Brooks Koepka have turned down about 30 opportunities to do reality television.
While appearing on Brie and Nicky Garcia’s Sirius XM podcast, “Nicki & Bree Show” Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit model explained that reality TV business was not a good fit for relationships, and that Liv Golf Star doesn’t think it’s “big privacy.”
“We didn’t say it like 30 times,” Jena said the former WWE wrestler said she and Koepka were featured on Netflix’s “Full Swing” and then on a docusary that follows some of the world’s top golfers amidst the competition. “That offer happens and they’re like, ‘Oh, you get all the creative control.’ I’m like, “No, we’re not doing that.”
“I don’t think it’s good for relationships. Brooks thinks it’s dangerous when people can see layouts like the layouts inside your home. We’re very safe and he really has a lot of privacy.”
Then Sims said, it’s a great balance as I live stream my child’s birth if possible. ”
“There’s plenty of camera on Brooks’ face. You don’t need another camera,” she said.
Sims and Koepka tied the knot in June 2022, and the model gave birth to their son’s crew the following July.
The Sims appeared on the Brie and Nikki podcasts during the 2025 Masters last week, while Rory McIlroy secured her first green jacket at Augusta National on Sunday.
Five-time Major Championship winner Koepka missed the cut by making a quadruple 8 on the 18th hole in the second round last Friday.
The Sims and the crew joined Koepka for a par-3 contest last Wednesday before the majors.
