Let’s say there’s a lot made up of strong similarities to Phillies pitcher Matt Stram’s Hollywood star Nicholas Cage, and Strahm has done nothing to stop people from making those comparisons.
Grab one of Cage’s more famous roles in the film National treasurea thriller packed with references to the history of the American revolutionary war, and specifically the fight to save the Declaration of Independence from falling into the hands of British thieves, Stram recently unveiled custom-designed gloves that include the Declaration of Independence engraved on his mitt.
“I stole it and then I made gloves,” Matt Stram wrote in the caption of his post on X.
