Judge Aaron laughs.
“Is there anyone other than you and Anthony Volpe?” he is asked, “Who loves being a Yankee more than Ben Rice?”
“He’s kind of one,” the judge says. “The child grew up in the Boston area and I think he will bleed the Yankee pinstripes.
“It’s incredible for the job he’s in every year. You see the passion after Homer, who hits him after a good play. The guy loves to be here. He’s doing it now on the baseball field, but how he’s in the clubhouse – he’s ready for a meeting. He’s a great teammate and he talks to everyone. He’s fluent in Spanish.
