Father of Austin Metcalf swatted just minutes after he was kicked out of Karmelo Anthony family news conference

The father of the murdered high school athlete Austin Metcalf Swatting attempts Just minutes after he was kicked out of a family press conference for Karmelo Anthony, the murderer of the accused.

Frisco police said they responded to reports of gunshots at the Metcalf family home on Thursday. They found no evidence that the shot was fired at home and decided that the call was an attempt at “swatting.”

“The lies and false accusations that have been said about us have been overwhelming, especially over the past week.”

Metcalf attended a track meeting at Kuikendall Stadium on April 2nd when he was fatally stabbed. This case has become the focus of national debate on crime.

The victim’s father, Jeff Metcalfe, tried to attend the Anthony family’s press conference, but he was discovered by one of Anthony’s supporters, who had been escorted by police. His presence delayed the start of the press conference.

A spokesman for announcing the “conservative operatives” for spreading what he said, accusing critics of “misinformation” about his family and being motivated by “bias” and “racism.”

Kayla Hayes, the suspect’s mother, said the family was under intense scrutiny and suffered from having to deal with criticism stemming from the incident.

“I was threatened, harassed and did nothing to lie about what happened between Carmelo and the Metcalf boy, my three younger children, my husband,” she said at a press conference.

“The lies and false accusations that have been said about us, especially over the past week, have been overwhelming. The lies and their amplification put my family at risk,” she added.

“My heart really goes to you for families who have experienced losses,” Hayes said.

Anthony’s father says his son is not an invader of the case.

Jeff Metcalf previously exploited the suspect’s family for his accused actions.

“I’m not trying to judge, but what parents did this child have? What did he teach?” he asked. “He brought a knife to a truck competition and stabbed him in the heart and murdered his son. The man was in the wrong place and they asked him to move.

Anthony was released from prison after bail was reduced from $1 million to $250,000. He is under house arrest awaiting trial.
