The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating after a crew of the National Guard Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, reporting it was “lit up” by a green laser about two miles from North Dakota’s Hector International Airport.
FAA officials said the incident occurred around 9pm local time on Thursday.
No injuries have been reported, according to the agency.

The Army confirmed with Fox News Digital that the aircraft was operated by the National Guard.
FAA officials will notify local governments and investigate.
The incident comes more than a week after the tour helicopter crashed into the Hudson River Jersey CityNew Jersey, killed six people on April 10th. – Includes pilot, two other adults and three children.

In March, the FAA announced that it would permanently restrict non-essential helicopter operations around the DCA, eliminate mixed helicopter and fixed wing traffic, and permanently close certain helicopter routes recommended by the National Road Safety Commission.

Simultaneous use of certain runways was also prohibited, and visual separation was limited to certain ones Coast GuardMarines and Park Police helicopters out of airspace with limited airspace.
The National Guard did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
