Austin Metcalf’s home swatted after Karmelo Anthony family press conference

Jeff Metcalf, father of Sline Frisco, Texas, told track star Fox News Digital, truck star of truck star Austin Metcalf, that his home was slammed Thursday night.

“You can see that last night our officers responded to a gunshot call in the 8000 block of Hickory Street, involving the Metcalf family.

It came hours after a jammed cen-like press conference hosted by a spokesman for the family of Metcalf murderer Carmelo Anthony.

Anthony is charged with killing Metcalf after two 17-year-olds were caught in a conflict under a tent at a high school truck competition on April 2nd.

Jeff Metcalf was allegedly stabbed in the heart by 17-year-old Carmelo Anthony, a student-athlete at Frisco Centennial High School, along with his son Austin Metcalf, a junior at Frisco Memorial High School. (Commentary Jeff Metcalf)

Slain Texas Teen’s twin brother, mourning mother, “lost my best friend in the blink of an eye.”

Swatting is usually when a 911 call is made to report a fake violent crime, acquire police and sometimes SWAT teams, and respond to addresses from callers. It has been increasingly used as a blackmail tactic to target prominent individuals and political rivals.

Thursday’s press conference was scheduled after Anthony was released from Collin County Jail on Monday, and his bonds were cut from $1 million to $250,000. The controversial decision led to questions about how hundreds of thousands of dollars are spent, which have been raised hundreds of thousands of dollars online.

Jeff Metcalf attended the press conference. This quickly fell into chaos after Dominique Alexander, head of the Next Generation Action Network, an activist group held to speak on behalf of the Anthony family.

“At the beginning of this press conference, what we saw as his father attending this press conference is, these are my words – don’t quote anyone – to downplay the dignity of his son,” said Alexander.

Metcalf arrived at the press conference at the scheduled start time but was threatened with criminal charges if he did not leave. He left the Dallas Police Station on a police escort.

“From the start, the next generation of action networks have respected the loss of life regardless of what they say about it. We kept our opinion,” Alexander said. “We are not attacking. We are not sharing any information shared with us about Austin Metcalf, as we respect the dignity of life and loss.”

Alexander later brought the race to debate.

“what [Jeff Metcalf] I fell [sic] Into is a political operative who wants to make this a hateful, prejudiced, yet racist political,” he said.

These comments largely obscured the purpose of the press conference. This was to set a straight record of how more than $475,000 would be spent from the GivesEndgo fundraiser raised for the Anthony family.

Alexander said none of the money was spent, and Anthony’s mother, Carla Hayes, confirmed that reading a statement prepared by the family’s lawyers was also considered the focus of the meeting.

“Our family is under attack,” she said. “Whatever you think of it, Carmelo and the Metcalf boy, my three young children, my husband and I were threatened, harassed, did nothing worthy of lying.

“Our address and the address of my husband’s previous employer are listed on all social media platforms. My husband had to take leave of absence because he was afraid of what would happen to our family.”

Alexander later called the prejudice of Anthony’s enemies.

“These racist paranoids try to prevent us from standing up for our babies, our boys, so he should be given to the same rights Kyle Rittenhouse had, Daniel Penny, and all those who claimed all people, whatever their defense was. He should be given the same rights,” Alexander said.

The suspected Texas Rock Meat Stab told the responding officer “did it”

“No one in public media has one video, but I got a video of Kyle Rittenhouse, where the AK-47 shot three people behind,” he said. “We got it and he publicly raised over $2 million, and no one said anything about it.”

Metcalf has tried to tone down political rhetoric since the stab wound on April 2nd.

He said before Fox News, “I’ve already heard some rumors and gossip, so I want to make something clear right away. This wasn’t race, this is not political.

“Don’t politicize this. It’s… this isn’t about humans. This person made bad choices and had an impact on both my family and my family forever.”
