New Mexico Democrat Judge Resigns After ICE Arrests Alleged Tren de Aragua Gang Member in His Home

A New Mexico Democratic judge resigned from his bench last month after immigration agents arrested members of the Tren de Aragua gangster who lives in his home. The illegal alien entered the United States on Eagle Pass, Texas, before being released on immigrant parole due to overcrowding. He eventually moved to New Mexico.

Federal prosecutors in the New Mexico area claim that 23-year-old Christian Ortegalopez illegally possesses a firearm and has ties to hyper-violent Venezuelan gangster Trendea Lagua. Earlier this year, President Donald Trump and the US State Department declared the gangs were foreign terrorist organizations.

Police arrested Orgega Lopez while running a search warrant at his home in Donana County, New Mexico on February 28th. It has been reported this week. The report follows a detention hearing in which prosecutors claim that illegal foreigners are at risk of flight and are members of the Tren de Aragua gang.

Former police officer Cano allowed Ortega Lopez to submit a request for immigration relief using the judge’s address. The court exhibit also posted social media posts of foreigners posing with judges.

It has been revealed that Venezuelan national Ortega Lopez illegally entered the United States on Texas Eagle Pass during the peak of the Biden border crisis in December 2023, and that he was released three days later, causing him to enter the United States illegally on Texas Eagle Pass.

A social media post obtained by the US Lawyer’s Office in the New Mexico area showed Ortega Lopez and other illegal aliens at the shooting range. They appeared to be carrying multiple firearms and a large number of handguns and rifle ammunition. In one image, the man holds an AR-15 style rifle in one hand and a semi-automatic pistol in the other. The video showed Venezuelan immigrants in possession of another AR-15 equipped with a suppressor. He fired the rifle until it was empty, then reloaded it in a new magazine, and he continued to fire it, prosecutors said.

Photos and videos show Ortega Lopez on display with a gangster tattoo from Tren de Aragua. The US government recently declared the violent gang a cross-border crime organization.

Investigators found additional firearms at a nearby home owned by Nancy Cano’s daughter. Ortega Lopez was seen owning some of these firearms.

Investigators report that Venezuelan citizens moved to El Paso after being released by Border Patrol agents. There he set up the room with five other people, court documents said. While living there, Ortega Lopez met Nancy Cano and began working as a construction and handyman. Kano has expanded the offer to illegal aliens live in the Casita behind her house.

Other images from Ortega-Lopez’s phone, acquired by Breitbart, showed graphic images of multiple beheaded and severed bodies.

Ortega Lopez is currently in the Donna Ana County Detention Center where she is accused of being an illegal foreigner in possession of a firearm.

It is not clear whether Judge Kano or his wife Nancy will be accused of having illegal aliens or providing material support to foreign terrorist organizations.
